Being given the chance to capture such an incredibly special time in one of my dearest friends’ lives was so honoring! I loved capturing the anticipation and excitement that Debbi and Matt carried all over their faces awaiting the arrival of their sweet boy Levi Matthew.

Being pregnant with one of my best friends made the entire experience so much more fun and offered so many opportunities of shared laughs and tears over the roller coaster of crazy that is better known as pregnancy. We gave birth to our sweet kiddos literally 8 days apart so every step of this journey was able to be shared with someone I truly value in my life!

I loved everything about this maternity photo shoot from the people, to their desire for downtown “outside the norm” locations, their choices of outfits and colors worn, and mostly their love they expressed for each other and their growing baby. This is how we love to photograph maternity sessions. Not your typical 500 times re-created pinterest photos, but instead a sincerity and originality of an authentic moment in their lives.
