Jan 18 2018 Elizabeth & Ben’s WV Fall Engagement Session
Elizabeth and Ben were such a fun couple! We met up with them in Huntington, WV, for their engagement photos, and we hit it off immediately. We even got to meet Ben’s kids at the beginning of the shoot, before grandma took them to play, and they were the kind of cute that makes your chest hurt! We had perfect weather and beautiful sunshine and the combination of that with a beautiful couple made for the perfect evening.
We started off in Ritter Park, in Huntington, and then moved downtown and wandered around a few blocks, chatting and laughing in between snapping some of our favorite engagement images from last year. They were up for anything and were so laid back. They let us be us and it totally paid off.
When you come into your session fully trusting your photographers, like Elizabeth and Ben did, it always translates in your photos. Your genuine personalities and love for one another is so much more authentic and organic.
We wrapped up their fall engagement session at Marshall University’s campus just as the sun was setting. There was a parade setting up at the end of 4th avenue, right by the part of campus we were using, so after navigating a bit of traffic we captured a stunning fall sunset and ended the session on such a high that left us more than excited about the session. We cannot wait to photograph their wedding.
