When Jennifer contacted us inquiring about an elopement, a whole new door and opportunity for something new was opened up to us. An elopement session was something we hadn’t done yet, but are so glad that it did.

Jennifer and Justin were such sweet, laid back people who were up for anything and that attitude paid off as we were stuck shooting and improvising in a complete typical spring downpour.

They started out with a quick, intimate ceremony surrounded by just a handful of family and friends in Kanawha State Forest in Charleston, WV and then we spent about 2 hours exploring the forest and photographing some shots to help freeze their special day forever. They were the kind of couple that was easy to laugh with and just as easy to photograph. They never once complained about the weather we had to deal with, but made the absolute most of it and because of that attitude and approach we captured some of our favorite wedding photos from the season.
