Oct 21 2017 New River Gorge Wedding | Melissa & David

Wedding elopements are always such a treat for us. We get to take in such a more intimate experience as 2 people become husband and wife on a smaller scale of fewer people and fuss, but it seems to enhance the romance. This New River Gorge wedding elopement, at Endless Wall Trail, around Fayetteville, WV proved to be extra special.

We really hit it off with Melissa and David, at their engagement phot shoot, so we knew photographing their elopement would be really awesome. They chose a specific cliff over-look a little ways out the Endless Wall Trail. David and the officiant headed out first and we made the hike with Melissa to meet them. The afternoon only got better from there.

We were able to capture an incredibly sweet first look as David finally got to see an image that will be forever branded in his mind for all of life- his bride on their wedding day.

After the ceremony overlooking the New River Gorge on the cliff, they cut there wedding cake together and then we dove right into their wedding portraits. We were able to take our time and really enjoy the beauty that Fayetteville, West Virginia offers. Even having a couple hours of some epic portrait capturing, we could have gone on forever. It’s always so awesome for Brandon and me to connect with such a cool couple like this and to experience such a beautiful moment with them.
