I had the privilege of meeting Samantha and her family at the 2014 Charleston, WV Bridal Expo last winter. She was such a sweet girl who wore her excitement on her sleeve over the prospect of planning her dream wedding to her dream guy. She was so easy to talk to and she called me back within days of the expo to book us to shoot her wedding photography. Going into their engagement shoot we knew right away it was going to be a super fun day with a super fun couple.
The early spring provided us with beautiful warm weather and the perfect evening light and we discovered right away that were going to love photographing this couple and documenting such an incredible season of their lives. They never stopped laughing (typically at Joe's expense) and were very comfortable in front of the camera.
We spent the evening strolling around downtown Charleston, WV and just stopping at anything that captured our eye along the way. It felt more like hanging out with old friends rather than photographing an engagement portrait session of a couple we had just met. The results of that meant snagging one of our favorite engagement sessions from the season.
